2021 Season of Light: $7,500 Matching gift challenge
This year, MHTP invited you to share your gratitude, hopes and memories with our community by lighting and dedicating virtual candles. With individual donations from over 30 virtual candles and a generous matching donation of $7,500 from our MHTP Board of Directors, we raised a total of $10,925 during our 2021 Season of Light. In memory of Maria O. Whitt: Maria was the Director of Nursing Excellence and oversaw the development of the Therapeutic Music Program at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. Over the past 5 years, Maria fought her illness grace and dignity. In fact, very few people knew that she was suffering from a terminal condition. Her amazing energy, beautiful smile and love of music continues to shine here every day as our CMPs serve our patients and staff. Maria, we all love and miss you, but rejoice in knowing where you are now and that you are completely healed. $100.
