We know COVID-19 pandemic thankfully will be over at some point, and CMPs will be able to work more extensively again in medical facilities. Are you ready for work but spinning your wheels trying to land a paying gig as a CMP?
Join the MHTP Accountability Circle to ignite your job seeking engine and receive 2 CEUs. Participants will become more centered and engaged in their own process of finding work as a CMP as they share and brainstorm ideas with each other for possible leads, set tangible goals for taking the next step toward obtaining a job, and establish a powerful and supportive accountability tool to ensure that goals are reached. The webinar lasts two hours via the video conference platform Zoom. (See instructions for using Zoom.) This webinar is moderated by Tess Miller, DMA, CMP, CPC.
This event starts 4:00 pm EASTERN TIME (3:00 pm Central, 2:00 pm Mountain, 1:00 pm Pacific).
If you have questions about how to join the webinar, please contact MHTP Program Director, Carol Spears, CMP at programdirector@mhtp.org
Tess Miller, DMA, CMP, CPC, has a doctorate in Music Performance from Michigan State University and became Certified as a CMP through MHTP in 2014. She currently works at McLaren Greater Lansing as a CMP and teaches and performs music throughout mid-Michigan. In 2019, Tess became a Certified Professional Coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching so that she could help people in the arts professions who know they have what it takes but are uncertain where or how to start.
Important notices you agree to:
Webinar registration form and payment must be received by MHTP at least 7 days prior to each webinar.
I must participate in the webinar discussion.
I will set up a free Zoom account for the webinar (Facilitator will send instructions).
I must complete the class evaluation form at the end of the webinar to receive the take-home information.
If you have a request for a type of webinar that you would like to gain more experience on, please email the MHTP Program Director.
Cancellation: If MHTP cancels a webinar because of too few participants (less than four (4)) or any other reason, all participants will be notified via email and will receive a full refund ($45). If a participant must cancel, that participant should immediately notify MHTP’s Registrar. If a participant cancels more than one (1) week in advance, a full refund will be given. If a participant cancels less than one (1) week in advance, no refund will be given, as last-minute cancellations could make the number of participants too small for a webinar to be viable. “One (1) week” is defined literally; i.e., exactly seven (7) days prior to the scheduled start of a webinar (e.g., for a webinar scheduled for 8PM Eastern on January 14, “One (1) week in advance” is 8PM Eastern on January 7). NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU ARE NOT AN MHTP STUDENT OR CMP.
