Important notices you agree to:
The webinar registration form and payment must be received by 5:00pm EST Feb 10.
I must participate one time in playing/singing for the class a short example from the previous week's material. (Karen will give guidelines and help with this.)
I will set up a free Zoom account for the webinar (facilitator will send instructions).
I must complete the class evaluation form at the end of the webinar to receive CEUs.
When you register, you will be asked if you are flexible in your choice of time track. If you are able to attend either track’s dates and times, you might be contacted close to the first week’s class to specify which of the tracks is more beneficial for the class balance of attendance. For intermediate and advanced musicians on any instrument that can change keys without retuning. We will be in keys ranging from F (one flat) to A (3 sharps). This is a mixed instrument class, geared to harps and hammered dulcimers, but other instruments and vocalists are welcome. If you have questions, contact Karen.
•Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of major and minor scales and chords and the note names on your instrument. Reading music is helpful, but the melodies are simple so it is possible to work by ear.
Cancellation: If MHTP cancels this webinar because of too few participants or any other reason, all participants will be notified via email and will receive a full refund. If a participant must cancel, that participant should immediately notify MHTP. If a participant cancels more than one week in advance of the first workshop, a full refund will be given. If a participant cancels less than one week in advance (after 7:30pm EST Feb 6 for Track 1, after 3:00pm Feb 7 for Track 2), no refund will be given, because last-minute cancellations could make the number of participants too small for a webinar to be viable.
Last call: Registrations will close at 5:00pm EST Feb 10.
