Neonatal Intensive Care and Live Therapeutic Music
Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) patients present specific and different types of needs and challenges for certified therapeutic musicians. During the MHTP 2024 conference medical specialties panel we began to learn about NICU patients and live therapeutic music. In this interactive webinar you have the opportunity to go deeper into discussions and challenges in working in NICU.
Facilitated by a CMP who is also a Registered Nurse Certified-Neonatal Intensive Care professional, one of the major webinar topics is deeper information on the various levels of NICU facilities in healthcare based on the infants’ neural development, and the corresponding needs and challenges for providers of live therapeutic music. Those who have worked in NICUs are encouraged to share your own observations and experiences.
Along with the webinar information and discussion, you will receive handouts and the webinar recording for review after the class.
